About Safe Stylish Haven Office and Labs
Babyark, a pioneering company, introduces a revolutionary baby car seat leveraging military-grade technology, redefining child safety standards. The office and lab design mirror this innovation, embracing a sustainable ethos with recycled materials and natural light sources. This alignment with social responsibility underscores the company's dedication to creating a safer and more sustainable world for generations to come. Oval motifs echo the product's logo, fostering cohesion. Glass partitions enhance transparency, while cozy lounge areas evoke warmth and familiarity.
Studio Tali Gotthilf's Safe Stylish Haven Office and Labs exemplifies the contemporary evolution of workplace design philosophy, where the traditional boundaries between professional and domestic environments dissolve in favor of spaces that nurture both productivity and wellbeing. This interior composition demonstrates masterful command of material juxtaposition, positioning the honesty of exposed industrial infrastructure against the tactile warmth of natural fibers and artisanal objects to create an environment that acknowledges the building's authentic character while transforming it into something distinctly welcoming. The designer's chromatic strategy reveals sophisticated understanding of color psychology, deploying a foundation of neutral tones that promote focus and calm while introducing carefully measured terracotta accents that energize without overwhelming, their warm earthen quality evoking ancient craft traditions and grounding the space in material authenticity. The spatial organization suggests influence from residential living room configurations adapted to professional contexts, with the generous lounge seating arrangement establishing a social heart around which more task-oriented zones orbit, this hierarchy communicated through furniture scale, lighting intensity, and material richness. The inclusion of woven rattan pendant luminaires introduces handcraft sensibility into an otherwise contemporary vocabulary, their organic forms and dappled light patterns creating intimate atmosphere within the larger volume while referencing global artisan traditions. Botanical elements distributed throughout the composition fulfill both aesthetic and biophilic functions, their living presence softening architectural edges and introducing the restorative benefits of nature into the work environment. The transparent quality of the metal shelving systems achieves the delicate balance of defining discrete areas while maintaining visual connectivity across the floor plate, ensuring that occupants feel part of a larger community rather than isolated in cubicles. The motion-captured figure traversing the space serves as evidence of the design's success in encouraging movement and interaction, the blur suggesting energetic engagement rather than sedentary confinement. Viewers might consider how environments shape behavior and how design choices communicate organizational values of openness, creativity, and human-centered consideration.

- Production Technology
- When approaching the interior design of the company, the designers needed to align with its core values and unearth its essence to craft a workspace customized to its requirements. Moreover, they had to address the spatial characteristics, notably its lofty height and outdated infrastructure. Opting to reveal the ceiling and repurpose existing systems, they merged aesthetics with ecological mindfulness. A central piece of furniture was conceived to partition and unify the company's periphery, functioning as a focal point.
- Design Challenge
- The interior design project faced a unique challenge: integrating modernity, functionality, and sustainability while reflecting Babyark's principles. Extensive research led to innovative solutions in furniture, lighting, and materials, aligning with the company's values. This approach enhances the workspace visually, reinforcing Babyark's commitment to excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility through the use of recycled materials, systems and natural light.
- Project Duration
- This project is in the industrial zone of Kfar Saba, central Israel, with an estimated duration of six months, including three months of planning and three months of execution.
- Operation Flow
- The layout of the workspace promotes collaboration and transparency, with open work areas divided by glass partitions. This encourages communication and interaction among team members while maintaining privacy in enclosed management offices and labs. Upon entering, one encounters a spacious area with a lounge-style seating corner and a transparent meeting room. The central bar area and lounge provide gathering spaces for informal meetings and relaxation.
- Research
- At the heart of Babyark's design philosophy is a harmonious alignment with nature. The incorporation of round lines fosters a sense of protection and continuity, creating an atmosphere that resonates with safety. Beyond functionality, the offices exude warmth and familiarity. A carefully designed lounge, extensive bookshelf, and a central bar area in the entrance and gathering spaces not only elevate the aesthetic but also create spaces that encourage collaboration and creativity.
- Inspiration
- The inspiration behind Babyark's interior design project lies in the concept of nurturing and protecting the next generation. Drawing from the resilience of nature's structures, particularly the egg, the design seeks to embody safety and security while fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.
