About Atria Convergence Technologies Telecom Application
Atria Convergence Technologies is a mobile application interface created for a telecommunications service provider. The application allows customers to manage services, devices and payments in one place. Frequent transactions are placed within a few steps to save time. A clear information architecture organizes the content, so individual features are easy to find. Content is tailored to user behavior, and loyalty rewards support engagement. Security features are included to build trust. The modular structure allows new features to be added later.
Emerging from the evolving tradition of mobile interface design, this telecommunications application by Lollypop Design Studio demonstrates exceptional command of contemporary digital design language while establishing a distinctive visual identity through bold chromatic choices. The work exemplifies the refinement of card-based interface architecture that has come to define premium mobile experiences in the current era, where floating containers with carefully calibrated shadow depths create intuitive spatial hierarchies guiding user attention and interaction flow. The designer's choice of saturated red as the primary brand color represents a confident departure from the cooler blues and greens that often dominate the telecommunications sector, instead embracing warmth and energy that suggests accessibility and human connection. Particularly accomplished is the integration of decorative geometric patterns within the header zone, elements that reference technological precision through their angular intersections while softening the overall presentation through their delicate white-on-red rendering. The icon system below reveals thoughtful visual grammar, each pictographic element maintaining consistent stroke weights and proportional relationships that enable rapid recognition and category comprehension. The data visualization element presenting usage metrics demonstrates elegant information design, translating abstract numerical relationships into immediately comprehensible visual form through proportional bar representation. The typographic system balances friendliness with clarity, the personalized greeting establishing emotional rapport while functional labels maintain unambiguous utility. This work invites contemplation of how digital interfaces can simultaneously serve functional requirements and brand expression, creating experiences that feel both efficient and emotionally resonant within the small canvas of mobile screens.

- Production Technology
- A thorough analysis of data collected from user research interviews, competitor analysis, and design audits was conducted to prioritize features, develop user journey maps, and establish user personas. Following this, an information architecture (IA) was crafted to systematically organize and categorize content, ensuring an intuitive structure for user navigation. Wireframes were created and designs for the screens were finalized by building on a visual design language suitable for their brand.
- Design Challenge
- Because of time constraints, user research was unable to gather insights from a broad demographic of users representing different target audiences of act. Hence, the insights obtained were relatively limited in scope, primarily focusing on tier 1 users.
At each stage of wireframes, we validated our designs with the dev team to ensure that all the designs are catering to the existing database and apis as well. There were multiple decisions taken and iterations produced to validate those as well. - Project Duration
- The project started in march 2023 and finished in september 2023 at lollypop design studio, Bangalore
- Operation Flow
- This project enhanced act's customer experience by focusing on key aspects: personalization, user control & freedom, building trust, and interaction & incentivization. It included tailoring content based on user behavior, offering seamless management of services and devices, establishing trust through security and reliable support, and increasing engagement with features like gamification and loyalty rewards.
- Research
- The research aims to gather user feedback on act's platform, identifying areas for improvement and enhancing satisfaction and engagement. one-on-one interviews and usability testing provided personalized insights, revealing challenges like confusion during onboarding and trust issues with payment flow.
- Inspiration
- Act fibernet developed the act app to improve user engagement and provide a seamless digital experience. by strategically promoting new products, enhancing wi-fi analysis, and aligning with user preferences, they aim to increase engagement. comprehensive user research, including analysis of competitors like airtel helped identify areas for improvement. furthermore, a design audit, competitor analysis were conducted to inspire improvements in user engagement, ensuring a smooth experience.
