This collection is inspired by designer's name Suyeon which means lotus flower on the water in Chinese characters. With the fusion of oriental moods and contemporary fashions, each look represents the lotus flower in different ways. The designer experimented with exaggerated silhouette and creative draping to show the beauty of a petal of the lotus flower. Screen printing and hand beading techniques are used to express floating lotus flower on the water. Also, this collection is only made in natural and transparent fabrics to connote symbolic meaning, purity of lotus flower and water.
