About Simple Refined Office

Simple Refined is an office interior design of 297 square meters located in Shanghai, China. Black, white and grey form the base tone, with warm raw wood texture and orange and red tones used as accents. A mirror in the office area enlarges the sense of space, and a television hidden behind the mirror keeps the surfaces clean. The meeting room offers privacy, while a large glass window brings daylight and outside views into the space. A recreational area with a red bear element gives employees a place to rest.

Research
Quality office design has no fixed standards, but must follow a certain principle, conveying enterprise brand image with simple mainstream design. With the use of mirror, the sense of space and the sense of beauty have been both enlarged.
Inspiration
The front counter and the facet adopted constant lines to conduct partitioning, while the metal at the rear used simple lines to present the different layers within the space. The designer created a private space dedicated for the employees based on the concept of humanistic care; the humorous red bear soft element added an interesting touch to the recreational space, where one may get relaxed both physically and spiritually while being busy.
