Hane, Mitsue, Togo, and Yash are four professionals who have returned to school to receive their master’s in design engineering degree at Harvard, a program housed in the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD) and the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). They were brought together through their interest in addressing complex social challenges using innovative, interdisciplinary approaches using both human-centered and system-level means. Leveraging their varying professional backgrounds, from design and strategy to advertising and writing, the four students collaborated to address a deeply overlooked issue and population in the product and service design world.
