Positions: horizontal and vertical. Plates for universal boxes. Plate thickness 6mm. Minimalistic ergonomic toggle. Ring and frame options. Complete range of functions: switch, sockets (universal, french, british, chinese,...), push button, dimmers, beacon, wall washer, key card, USB charger, TV & Telephone sockets, info socket, digital, thermostat, loudspeaker, buzzer, presences detector, cabler outlet cover, blind cover...). Design Challenge

5.1 is born from a need: to provide architects and interior designers with electrical mechanisms that introduce design into their dna and complement their projects, offering endless customization possibilities that enhance the uniqueness of each space.

We consider innovation in the design of a product to be the best way to present itself and that is why we strive to ensure that all our products convey a formal, unique and exclusive message. We adapt our products to the specific needs of each case (materials, sizes, formats, colors, etc.) in order to provide products that give a distinctive touch to each space.

Project Duration

5.1 is the first collection and icon of the Font Barcelona brand, founded in 2010 oriented to the prescription. Recognised with the Red Dot (2013) and Maison Objet (2014) international awards.

Inspiration

Designed for architectural needs and markets, in order to cover the particularities of each project. Inspiration in other sectors of luxury. It allows you to customize by choosing every detail: plate material (steel, brass, corian & aluminum), the type of mechanism (function / power, etc) and global aesthetics (finishes of plates, hands, washers, frames, buttons and plug bases covers). Fitting installation, plate thickness 6mm. Manufactured locally using the minimum material.
