Merry Individual Habitats is a residential interior design for a home of 136 square meters shared by a couple. The plan is divided into two thirds shared space and one third private space. Two bedrooms are placed at the quiet rear and are separated by a dressing room, and both are reached through a hallway, so each occupant can move in and out without disturbing the other. A folding door in the study forms a temporary glass room for phone meetings. Light and natural wood tones create a calm atmosphere.

Lo Hsiao-Li's design for this residential environment engages contemporary spatial practices emphasizing material honesty, luminous openness, and the integration of knowledge storage within living quarters, reflecting evolving residential design philosophy that celebrates intellectual pursuits and personal collections as central to domestic life rather than concealed necessities.
