About 2023 Hua Chenyu Mars Concert Stage
The 2023 Hua Chenyu Mars Concert is a concert stage design based on the theme of the Martian Coordinate System. The four-sided stage forms a rectangular prism measuring 47.5 meters long, 27.5 meters wide and 22 meters high, with a total hanging weight of over 200 tons. Sequentially arranged luminous panels and strip-shaped mirror devices at the top and bottom resemble scales on a coordinate system. Ten custom lighting fixtures span 30 meters, and 12 adjustable lighting columns represent the months of a year. The structure balances transparency with load-bearing capacity.

The designer demonstrates remarkable command of scale and spatial composition, arranging massive LED display panels in a seemingly deconstructed formation that suggests both structural fragmentation and cosmic order, as if a crystalline form were caught mid-explosion or mid-assembly. The technical achievement evidenced in the precise coordination of volumetric lighting, atmospheric effects, and synchronized video content speaks to an understanding of the stage not merely as performance platform but as kinetic sculptural environment capable of continuous transformation throughout the event duration. The monochromatic imagery displayed across the discontinuous screen surfaces, featuring expressive figurative forms rendered in silvered grays and luminous whites, creates a visual language that feels simultaneously intimate in its human reference and vast in its multiplied repetition across the architectural scale of the installation. Specifically designed for the stage are 10 custom-made lighting fixtures arranged in a "6 horizontal, 4 vertical" configuration, spanning 30 meters. Through a sequence of lenses, they showcase key moments and highlights from the past decade, offering a unique interpretation of Huachenyu's music. Additionally, 12 adjustable lighting columns symbolize the companionship throughout each month of a year.

- Operation Flow
- Based on the core concept of the "Martian Coordinate System," the stage design for this event ingeniously utilizes horizontal and vertical structures, sequential devices, and numerical control technology to construct a giant rectangular prism within the stadium, measuring 47.5 meters in length, 27.5 meters in width, and 22 meters in height. At the top and bottom of the prism, numerous sequentially arranged, numerically controlled luminous panels or strip-shaped mirror stage art devices resemble scales in the coordinate system, documenting every precious moment over the past decade.
These devices not only fulfill multidimensional dynamic imagination but also seem to gather beautiful information from parallel universes over the past decade, converging from various dimensions and directions to collectively construct a unique coordinate system. When the dynamic changes settle, the complete appearance of the stage is revealed, resembling a massive "engine" or "motherboard," with Huachenyu's music serving as the core power source, unleashing immense energy. The PGM screens and performances on stage then act as energy chips within the "motherboard," weaving together a visually and audibly stunning extravaganza that captivates the audience. - Research
