Koza Ipek Loft was designed by craft312 studio as a student guesthouse and youth centre with a capacity of 240 beds in 8000 m2 area. Koza Ipek Loft consrtruction was completed in May 2013.In general, guesthouse entry, youth centre access, a restaurant, a conference room and foyer, study halls, rooms, and administrative offices in multiples of 12 storey building consisting of an innovative, modern and comfortable living spaces have been designed. Rooms for 2 people in the core cells arranged by according to each floor, two compartments and a 24 person use.

What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
The main principle is create unique student dormitory and different experimental space for users.
What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
Combining aesthetic issues and dormitory functions in undiscovered design solutions before.
How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
In first, design concept cretaed in 2 months. Then application project took 4 months.
How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
Koza ipek is the name of company that owner of the dormitory. Loft is come up with architectural concept.
Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
There are a lots of colloborations such as illumination, hvac, furniture and static firms.
How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
We beleive that create excellent and unique work on this project.
What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
Lots of things..such as Coordination of the big projects in application process.
