The Three Legged Chair is a handcrafted instrument, designed to rest and to decorate. Within its genes is the essence of woodworking. The shape of the chairs backrest is created by natural rope which is stretched into place by a twisting stick located under the seat. This is a very effective tightening method, that can be found on traditional bow saws, a woodworking hand tool used by experienced craftsman until today. The three legs are a practical solution to keep the design simple yet stable on every surface.
